About the Laurentian Branch

The Laurentian Branch has the aim of promoting the Royal Heraldry Society of Canada (RHSC) in the Province of Quebec. Membership in the branch is open to all persons who have joined the RHSC anywhere in Canada.

The Branch assists all persons who are interested in obtaining a grant of arms from the Heraldic Authority of Canada. A study program is offered to members of the Branch who are interested in learning about the art and science of heraldry and who may wish to attempt the certificate examinations offered by the RHSC.

The Laurentian Branch has an active social program in Montréal featuring dinners where a qualified guest speaker presents topics of general interest on the subject of heraldry. These successful dinners are attended by members, potential members, and other persons enjoying good fellowship.
